You’ll need to wear workout clothes. The entire testing process takes approximately two hours. Afterward, our professionals review your results and schedule a 30-minute follow-up session to walk you through your data and explain your personalized exercise prescription in detail.
The evaluation is done at South Beach Clinic, in the medical campus of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
Yes. For the most accurate results, you need to fast
for at least 8 hours before your evaluation.
Our exercise physiologist will review your results thoroughly and discuss your ExRx either in person or virtually one week after your evaluation. You will also receive a report and a link to access your body composition results, along with an app that displays your heart zones and VO2 max results, helping you accurately calculate calories burned during workouts and track your progress.
Once you receive your personalized exercise plan, the best way to optimize your results is to schedule one-on-one training sessions with our exercise physiologist.
Dr. Brown will guide you step-by-step, gradually adjusting your routine, intensity, and frequency based on your goals and progress.
If you embrace your exercise prescription, your routine will gradually increase from beginner to intermediate to advanced levels. We recommend testing every 6 months.
We offer My ExRx–silver evaluation that includes the four key assessments of your fitness, namely VO2 max, resting metabolic rate, body composition analysis, and strength assessment, and create an exercise plan tailored to your needs, goals, and capabilities.
We also offer My ExRx and Endocrinology Gold evaluation, which includes the Silver evaluation, as well as blood biomarker testing with over 60 cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, and nutritional markers, along with a one-hour consultation with our Endocrinologist.
